More Than a Cosmetic Concern

When teeth are crowded or rotated they create tight spaces that an ordinary toothbrush and floss cannot reach. Over time that trapped plaque raises your risk of decay, gum disease and premature enamel wear. A bite that does not meet evenly also overworks the jaw muscles and joints, which is a common cause of clicking, headaches and grinding.

Straightening the teeth is therefore as much about long-term health as it is about appearance. Our dentists assess your bite, jaw joints and gum health first, then plan tooth movement digitally so the result is stable, comfortable and easy to keep clean.

Most adults and teens are candidates for clear aligners. Where the jaw muscles are already strained, we may recommend settling them first with a TMJ assessment, following our Foundation Up approach.

Assessment and digital scan

We examine your teeth, gums, bite and jaw joints, then capture a 3D model with our Primescan intraoral scanner. No impression trays, no putty.

Digital smile simulation

Using your scan we map the planned movement and show you a preview of your straightened smile before you commit to anything.

Invisalign clear aligners

Removable, clear medical-grade trays move your teeth gradually into position without wires or brackets. You change trays at home and visit us every six to eight weeks.

Retention and follow-up

A custom retainer, 3D printed in our clinic, keeps your result stable. For children, early interceptive treatment can resolve minor crowding before it becomes a bigger problem.

Crooked Teeth Questions

Am I too old for teeth straightening?
No. Healthy teeth and gums can be moved at any age, and most of our Invisalign patients are adults. The assessment looks at your gum health and bite rather than your age.
How long does Invisalign take?
Mild crowding can be corrected in a few months; more complex cases take 12 to 18 months. Your digital plan shows the expected timeline before you begin.
Will straightening my teeth help my jaw pain?
It can. An uneven bite overworks the jaw muscles and joints. We assess the jaw first and, where muscles are strained, settle them with TMJ treatment or a night guard before or alongside alignment so the result is comfortable and stable.
Can crooked teeth be fixed with veneers instead?
For minor rotations or spacing on front teeth, veneers or bonding can create the appearance of straight teeth quickly. For crowding or bite problems, moving the teeth is healthier and lasts longer. We explain both options honestly at your consultation.
Is Invisalign covered by insurance?
Many plans include orthodontic coverage with a lifetime maximum. We check your coverage, and we offer monthly payment plans for the remainder. See Invisalign cost.
