See what we see, and get clear answers without leaving our clinic. Our 3D CT scans, digital X-rays and 3D scanners show what’s beneath the surface of your teeth and gums, explained to you on screen, so your care can be planned in the same visit.

Many patients are sent elsewhere for a 3D CT scan, then wait for the results. Ours is right here, at our Fleetwood clinic.

It isn’t needed for every patient. Here’s when a 3D CT scan helps most:
Measuring bone and mapping nerves before placement, then designing the guide we print in-house.
Dental ImplantsSeeing the full shape of a tooth’s roots and canals, including hidden ones, infection or cracks that a flat image can miss, so we can plan and complete many complex root canals here.
Root Canal TreatmentChecking how close the roots sit to nerves before removal.
Wisdom Teeth RemovalViewing the jaw joints and the bone around them.
TMJ TreatmentViewing the airway to help plan oral appliance therapy. Diagnosis comes from a sleep study.
Sleep Apnea TreatmentTracking down the source when the cause isn’t obvious.
Tooth Pain & SensitivityBefore any scan, we tell you what we’re looking for and how it will guide your care.
Stay still for about 20 seconds while the scanner rotates around you. No needles and no enclosed tube.
Your images appear on screen within minutes, and we walk you through what they show.
In many cases, we can talk through your treatment options in the same visit.
A 3D CT scan shows each tooth’s roots, the bone around them and the path of the nerve, so treatment is planned around your anatomy, not a guess.
Everything flattens into one image.Roots, bone and nerves overlap.
We chose an advanced Dentsply Sirona CBCT for its low-dose imaging. It’s designed to limit radiation to sensitive areas such as the eyes, brain and thyroid. We also follow the “as low as reasonably achievable” principle: we only take a 3D CT scan when it guides your treatment, and we scan only the area we need to see.
Each tool shows us something different. Together, they give us a complete picture of your mouth, all in one place, connected directly to the technology we use to make restorations in our clinic. See our same-day digital workflow

A cone beam scan creates a 3D image of your teeth, jaw, nerves, sinuses and jaw joints in one rotation of about 20 seconds.
For you: Detailed answers for implants, complex root canals, wisdom teeth and jaw joint concerns, without a trip to an imaging centre.

A pen-sized camera shows magnified, full-colour images of your teeth on a screen beside you. Cracks, worn fillings and early decay become easy to see.
For you: You see exactly what we see, so decisions about your care are made together.

Images appear on screen within seconds and can be enlarged and adjusted to show fine detail.
For you: Quick checkups with less radiation than traditional film.

Your 3D images, digital scans and photos come together in one place, so your dentist can plan treatment in 3D.
For you: The same data drives the restorations and implant guides we make in our clinic.
