Crowns and appliances used to be made at an outside lab: an impression was sent away, you wore a temporary, and you came back weeks later. Now the lab is here, and every step works from the same 3D model of your teeth, so much of your care can be finished in one visit. We’ll tell you at your exam whether yours can be.
A small handheld scanner builds a precise 3D model of your teeth, and you can watch it appear on screen.
Your dentist designs it in CEREC software, shaped to your bite and neighbouring teeth, and can show you as it takes shape.
Crowns are milled from solid ceramic and fillings are printed in one piece, then stained and polished by hand.
We check the fit and your bite, refine it in the chair, and bond it in place before you leave.
With CEREC milling and 3D printing in our own clinic, we make all of these ourselves, so we control the fit and finish, and if something isn’t right, we can remake it quickly.
Scanned, designed and 3D-printed, usually ready within days.
